BENEFITS OF ATTENDING THE CONFERENCE
Journal Publication Opportunities
The Conference is affiliated with four peer-reviewed journals: The
International Journal of Business and Finance Research (IJBFR), International
Journal of Management and Marketing Research (IJMMR), Global Journal of Business
Research (GJBR) and Revista Internacional Administración & Finanzas (RIAF).
All our journals are included in EBSCOHost. EBOSCOHost provides
nation-wide access to Journal content in more than 70 countries. All our English
Journals are listed in the 11th edition of Cabell’s directory. They are also
listed in Ulrich’s Periodical Directory. The International Journal of Business
and Finance Research and Global Journal of Business are indexed in The American
Economic Association's Econlit, e-JEL and JEL on CD. Spanish
language papers are published in Revista Internacional Administración y
Finanzas. Papers honored with the Outstanding Research Award at the conference
will be offered publication in one of our Journals. In addition, papers
receiving the Best Paper in Session Award are reviewed for possible Journal
publication.
Publication in the Refereed Conference Proceedings
Publishing in the Refereed Conference Proceedings is optional and free to
registered conference attendees. Conference proceedings are published under the
Title "Global Conference on Business and Finance Proceedings," ISSN 1931-0285 CD format, and ISSN
1941-9589 online format. You can publish a 200-word abstract, a 5-page
version of your paper or a full paper (not to exceed 14 properly formatted
pages). All proceedings submissions must be in MS Word and must be formatted
according to our proceedings guidelines located at
www.theIBFR.com/guidelines.htm
Your acceptance letter will include detailed information on how to publish in
the refereed conference proceedings.
Outstanding Research Award
Registered attendees can submit their paper for award consideration and
possible publication in one of our journals. Award winners will receive a
certificate and Award Plaque at the Award Banquet. An acceptance letter and
reviewer’s comments are provided for award-winning papers. Award winners are
required to properly format their document and make any other changes required
by the reviewers and/or editor prior to journal publication. Please note that
there is a $25 per page publication fee for papers that are published in the
journals. Submissions to the Award competition are treated in the same fashion
as a journal submission. Thus, submitting a paper for award consideration
implies that your paper has not been published elsewhere and is not under
publication consideration elsewhere. It also implies that you are prepared to
pay the publication fee if your paper wins an award.
Best in Session Award
Based on a peer-review process, in each session, a paper will be selected as
the Best Paper in Session for an award. Best in Session Award Winners will
receive a certificate at the Award Banquet and are invited to submit their
