RAMADA PLAZA HERRADURA GOLF RESORT & CONFERENCE CENTER

We encourage you to stay at the conference hotel and to arrange for your lodging early.  Costa Rica is a popular destination and hotels do sell out. We have arranged for a block of rooms at Ramada Plaza Herradura Golf Resort & Conference Center at a special rate of $110 (single or double) per night plus taxes. This rate includes breakfast.

To receive the special $110 rate, you must make your reservations directly with the hotel. The special rate of $110 is available until April 24, or until the available block of rooms is reserved, whichever occurs first.  You can make your reservations by calling 506-2209-9800 and ask for the IBFR-GCBF (Institute for Business and Finance Research) Group rate. You can reserve online at:

Again, be sure to indicate to the hotel that you will be attending the GCBF and would like to receive the special rate. After April 24, 2009, the hotel will not honor the promotional rate and regular standard will apply.

 The Conference hotel is near the airport and offers complimentary airport shuttle service.  Hours of operation can be found at:

RESERVATIONS DEADLINE

The last day to make reservations with the special rate of $110 plus taxes ( breakfast included) is April 24, 2009. After April 24, the rates will be from $149 and $169 per night plus taxes.

CANCELLATION POLICY ( important)

You will be required to provide a credit card to guarantee your reservations.  If needed, make sure that you request the cancellation of your reservations. Otherwise, the hotel will charge your card the entire reservation.
